a 4 page, double-spaced summary of a research article about memory and forgetting.(Times New Roman, 11- or 12-point font size should be used).The article that the student will summarize must be an original research article in a peer-reviewed journal, from the last 20 years.The student will first search for the article online, and then read it in detail. The first page of the homework will explain "why the student chose this specific article" and "what s/he liked about the topic". The following three pages will summarize the article in the following format: (1) introduction of the article (the theory and/or background and hypotheses) (2) methods of the article (how the authors measured a construct, whom/what they measured, what kind of measurement tools they used, what was their research design etc.) (3) results of the article (what they found) & conclusions (what they discussed and concluded).Please do not plagiarize. Plagiarism means using someone else's work/ideas without giving credit, and presenting it as yours. In that sense, it is important that students use their own sentences, without copying/pasting.
