Identify a large purchase that you recommend for your medical surgical nursing unit (Capital usually > $5000) and prepare a proposal to justify its purchase

• Describe the recommended item, including website or other source to show what the manufacturer claims
• Describe the situation or problem that will be resolved with this purchase.
• Discuss the benefits of having the new item and the implementation strategies that will be required if approved.
• Offer the competing products and why they were not proposed
• Provide an evaluation plan which will demonstrate a return on this investment (pre/post data)
• Suggest a time line for implementation.
