For this assignment, you will come up with a hypothesis based on a research question of your interest. This is a pretend assignment so you do NOT need to worry about the feasibility of you actually trying to study this in the real world. As such, you can let your imagination work but make sure that your hypothesis is at least plausible to study. Limit your hypotheses to the field of mental health and psychology.

Once you identify your hypothesis, please provide an explanation of why you chose this particular research area and why would studying your hypothesis be beneficial. This is the ultimate “Who cares?” question that every researcher needs to answer before spending the resources on trying to study the question at hand.
