English Literature Question

I am a secondary school Form 3 student, and I have an English Literature test question which I am not sure how to answer it right. The question is based on two very short stores called Anti-snore machine by Robin Klein and the First Day of school by William Saroyan. The question asks me to describe the family relationships about the stories. Could you tutors help me with that question? The question is: Consider Anti-snore Machine and the First Day of School. For each story, describe things about family relationship that you have learnt, Explain your answers with examples from each stories. This is an eight marks question out of 30.
